It is the with great excitement we introduce Claire Hunkler as a new and very vital part of our MTREC Team. Claire will provide leadership responsibilities within the Tennessee Beef Heifer Development Program and MTREC’s Precision Livestock Technology Research Program at both Lewisburg and Spring Hill units.
Claire Hunkler comes to us with a Bachelors in Agriculture, concentration in Livestock production
and a Master of Science in Animal Science from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Claire’s
Master’s program was focused on Bovine Respiratory Disease in Stocker calves.
Claire’s experience and education will no doubt blend well with our outstanding staff dedicated to providing the highest level of stewardship possible to your heifers and the research outcomes
intended to benefit the future of animal agriculture.
We look forward to the new avenues Claire’s addition will bring to our outreach and research
programs.
